A Selection of Steam Railway magazine covers demonstrating versatility in visual communication. Projects include celebratory designs for key anniversaries and dynamic layouts to highlight important and timely news stories.

For this special issue celebrating scenic railways, I commissioned a bespoke illustration. Inspired by classic railway posters, this artwork was featured prominently on the cover and adapted for use as a recurring logo throughout the publication.

For a commemorative special issue marking the 100-year anniversary of the Castle Class locomotive, I was tasked with designing a simple compact logo for consistent visual identity throughout the publication.

For a feature in Steam Railway magazine detailing the intricate process of overhauling locomotives, I designed clear and engaging infographics to visually communicate key technical information to their specialist readership.

I Designed a clean and cheerful Christmas special edition for Yours Magazine, encompassing a variety of festive content including how-to guides, recipes, and gift inspiration.

The challenge of designing a feature on the railwayana auction business required a visually arresting approach to draw readers in and keep them invested. My solution incorporated intriguing photography and carefully selected typography that complemented the unique style of the railwayana world, resulting in an engaging and visually appealing piece.

In these Model Rail sections, I demonstrate my ability to visually translate complex technical information into clear, engaging layouts. My Photoshop skills are evident in the meticulously cut out and enhanced images, which ensure the technical content is not just accurate, but also visually striking.
